August 4, 2011 TheWebTower.com has been sold and is now under new management. Too early to tell what additions will be made to the site but will post any news here. Looking forward to increasing our presense as an advertising portal and contributing the Towers already great design.

We are currently looking for a new owner to take over TheWebTower.com. To those that I have contacted, if you have anymore questions regarding this site, please feel free to ask. To the users of TheWebTower.com, thanks for using this site, feel free to continue using this site. Hopefully the new owner will keep this site running and make it even better!
In real site news, I have recoded the admin control panel for easier maintaining. This should help out the new owner to approve/deny new submissions to the tower.
As for me, the reason behind me leaving this project behind is, in the last 2 years (has it been that long already?) I have moved on to developing more web projects. These are my primary focus now, but I still want this to find a nice home. Hopefully it will. Thanks for all of your support over the last 2 years!

It has been a long time since this place has been updated. I have been really busy with college, but I hope to work on this project again soon! Stay tuned, thanks for the support.

You may notice there are no more tooltips. I removed them in an attempt to fix slow loading times. It seems to be working! If you ever want to view your site's statistics, simply click on it in the tower and there will be a frame located at the top of the page. I will be working on adding sub-features to this feature when I can find more time. Enjoy!

Updated: Contact form, FAQ, sorting menu, and created a 125x125 ad banner to use for advertising. Forums are coming soon! Been getting emails about this. Most likely this weekend. Stay tuned! Donations are loved.

Banner submission is now in upload form rather than linking to your image. When the forum is up, you will be able to request banner changes. This should help load time slightly.

The clicks out feature now works. Simply hover over a banner to see its statistics. I am considering changing from linking your banner to a banner upload system. That way The Web Tower will host all images and we don't need to call for images from hundreds of different sites.

I'm planning on creating a review system for your banners. When you click the banner, it will take you to a page where users can visit your site, post comments, and rate out of 5 stars. Suggestions?

We have reached 100 banners!! We are looking for a new 88x31 banner. The one I made is not the best and I know there is a lot of artistic talent out there! If you think you can make a good one, contact me!
